Karlee Naumann

Adult Ballet Intensive 2025

Karleeā€™s love for dance began at age 14, after completing a term of dance at high school. Quickly, she became heavily involved in the dance community, performing both Nationally and Internationally, as well as becoming a dance teacher in 2012. In 2013, Karlee commenced a Bachelor of Dance Performance at the Adelaide College of the Arts, majoring in contemporary dance. After a year of this degree, Karlee had discovered that she was fascinated by anatomy and physiology of the body, and after injury set back, began a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of South Australia.

Since completing this degree in 2017, she has been working as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and has completed a Masters by Research degree. She has worked as an AEP in a range of different settings including: elite sport/dance, disability, neurological/metabolic conditions, paediatrics and oncology. Currently she is working for the Youth Cancer Service SA, rehabilitating 15-25 year olds going through cancer treatment.

Karlee is incredibly passionate about strength and conditioning for dancers. She has used her skills for helping others achieve their goals and become better/stronger dancers. Additionally, her knowledge has helped her return to dance at a high-level post major injuries (and currently postpartum) and was instrumental to her winning two national dance titles (2020 and 2023). She is excited to share her insights and knowledge to help the Dragonfly intensive dancers to dance longer and stronger throughout their lives.
