Changes to membership and pricing options from 1 July 2026
We're introducing new membership and pass options from 1 July 2026, alongside a CPI-based price increase. The new options provide greater choice and flexibility, making it easier to select the arrangement that best suits your needs. The existing memberships will be retired, as they are replaced by the new Quarterly Pass and Standard and Flex Memberships.
Over the past year we've been working to improve the way memberships and class bookings operate at Dragonfly.
When we moved to Mindbody, we introduced additional flexibility by allowing members extra time to use cancelled classes. Unfortunately, we've since discovered a limitation in the way Mindbody manages membership credits, which means cancelled classes cannot be easily rescheduled within the current payment cycle.
Rather than reducing flexibility, we've redesigned our membership options to provide clearer and more reliable ways to manage your classes.

Important changes to membership terms and conditions
What you need to do by 1 July
From 1 July, the current membership options will no longer be available, as they are being replaced by new membership and pass options designed to address problems with managing classes through Mindbody. Those membership and pass options are now available.
Please review the options below and choose the one that best suits your needs before 1 July 2026.
Once you've chosen, complete the Membership Switch form on our website.
Upcoming price increase
From 1 July 2026, our pricing will be increasing.
The drop-in class price will increase from $28.50 to $29.90, which reflects the 12-month Consumer Price Index (CPI) 4.9% increase for South Australia to the March 2026 quarter. This reflects the increase in our operating costs, including rent and outgoings, which are indexed to the CPI.
As the membership prices are calculated as discounts on the drop-in price, it means membership prices also increase.
Note: the prices for the new Standard and Flex membership and the Quarterly Pass already incorporate the price increase, so there will be no increase in what is currently on the website on 1 July for those pricing options.
New pricing options
You can now choose from three options:
Standard Membership
Lowest membership price
12-month commitment
Enrolment in your regular class/es
4 weeks to use your classes
This option is designed for dancers who attend consistently each week and want the greatest discount.
Flex Membership
12-month commitment
Enrolment in your regular class/es
13 weeks to use your classes
Greater flexibility for rescheduling classes
The Flex Membership costs a little more than the Standard Membership but still provides a discounted class rate. The 13-week cycle aligns with our quarterly timetable structure and reflects the 52 weeks of the year.
Quarterly Pass
One-off purchase
13 classes to use over 13 weeks
No ongoing commitment
Enrolment in your chosen class/es
This option is ideal for dancers who would prefer not to commit to a 12-month membership.
Important changes to membership terms
To ensure memberships remain sustainable and fair for all dancers:
Memberships are now a 12-month commitment.
Memberships may be upgraded, which will re-set the 12 month membership term
Memberships cannot be cancelled or downgraded during the 12-month term except in accordance with the Extenuating Circumstances provisions of the Membership Terms and Conditions.
Membership holds remain available under the existing policy:
One hold per membership year
Minimum 1 month
Maximum 6 months
Thank you for your continued support of Dragonfly.
