Fix an 'unpaid' class in Mindbody

Background

Sometimes a class may show as unpaid in your Mindbody account. This can happen for a few reasons, for example:

  • if a teacher or member of our team books you into class without taking payment at the time

  • if a credit card payment has failed, or

  • if you’re a member booking ahead of your current payment cycle (future classes will appear as unpaid until your next auto payment is processed).


To fix an unpaid class, you can simply purchase a drop-in class and the payment will automatically be applied.


If the class is unpaid because your auto payment failed, you can update your credit card details (or add a new card) and wait for Mindbody to re-run the payment, which it does automatically every 24 hours. There are no fees charged by Mindbody Payments if a payment fails, though your bank may apply its own charges.


If the unpaid class is a future booked class scheduled past your current payment date, you do not need to do anything. When your next payment is deducted, it will automatically reconcile the unpaid classes.

Steps

How to purchase a drop in class to pay for an unpaid class


  • Login to your profile in the Mindbody website

  • Click/tap the Online Store tab

  • Click/tap Services in the submenu

  • Click/tap Select Item, then Dance Classes

  • Click/tap Dropin class

  • Click/tap the blue Check Out button

  • Under Billing Information, click/tap the option to either

    • use the card or account we have on file for you, or

    • to enter an alternative payment option, then enter your payment details

  • click/tap the blue Place Order button


How to update credit card details


  • Login to your profile in the Mindbody website

  • Click/tap the My Info tab

  • Click/tap Profile from the submenu (this is usually automatically selected)

  • In the Billing Inforomation section, click/tap Edit

  • Enter the details of your card

  • Click/tap the Save button
